Tap

Overview

Tap dance is a lively, rhythmic and expressive style of dance that’s perfect for building confidence, coordination and musicality. Our tap dance sessions at West Wight Sports & Community Centre introduce you to the basic sounds, steps and rhythms of tap, including movements on the spot and simple travelling steps.

This class is suitable for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills. No tap shoes are required, making it an easy and accessible way to try something new on the Isle of Wight. With a friendly, supportive atmosphere, it’s a great way to stay active, learn a new skill and enjoy movement to music.
